What Not to Ask Professional Movers to Move
Relying on a professional mover truly makes your life easier. Not only do we take on the heavy lifting, literally, but we offer professional packing, short notice moving, and storage solutions just to name a few of our services. That said, there are some items that you should not rely on your professional mover to take on or that you should not move at all.
Food
It is definitely a good idea to keep some snacks on hand for you and your family during moving day, but when it comes to perishables like produce, dairy, or meat it is best to consume that prior to moving day. If you have a lot of excess food items, this does not mean you have to throw things away. Contact your local shelter or food pantry to learn what can be donated.
Valuables
You definitely do not want to leave valuable items behind, but it is always better to err on the safe side when it comes to moving items like money, jewelry, and family heirlooms. With the exception of large furniture, these are some of the items that you should move in your own vehicle to avoid any mishap.
Hazardous Chemicals/Materials
This could include anything that is toxic or flammable such as fuel, chemicals, or propane tanks. Firearms or weapons of any sort are also items you should transport yourself as opposed to the moving company.
Our crew of local movers in Tampa is dedicated to ensuring that all of the items we pack and transport make their way safely from Point A to Point B. Feel free to contact us to discuss the details of your move by visiting 3GuysMoving.com.
