The Right and Wrong Way to Pack
As a packing and moving company, we specialize in ensuring our customers’ belongings safely make it from one place to another. Our movers and packers take pride in their jobs and whether you are packing yourself or they are packing for you, it is important to keep some key factors in mind. Our next series of articles will cover tips to help make sure your belongings are properly packed.
USE QUALITY PACKING MATERIALS
Quality packing materials can make all the difference! Be sure to use heavy duty boxes and packing tape. Flimsy or lightweight boxes can easily break or crush. Cheap tape can come loose. When taping cardboard boxes, be sure to securely tape the top and bottom. Wardrobe boxes are excellent for transporting clothing. If you choose to use our movers and packers, we will bring all the right supplies to ensure your belongings are safe and secure. If you plan to pack yourself, our full service movers can provide you with packing materials upon request.
WRAP FRAGILE ITEMS
All fragile items should be tightly wrapped in either bubble wrap or quality packing paper. Our movers and packers recommend you also wrap any item that has the potential of breaking. This not only provides extra padding, but also prevents damage from items that may come into direct contact with one another.
