How Does a Typical Moving Day Unfold?

Moving day can be stressful, but with proper planning, it can also be an exciting fresh start. As we discussed in a previous article, you can alleviate moving day stress by creating a moving day timeline, detailing the order of tasks and the expected arrival time of your full service moving company. This helps keep everything on track and ensure a smooth transition.

At 3 Guys Moving, we value and invite your input. When we arrive, we will review everything with you and then begin the packing and loading process. Remember, it is extremely important for you to give clear instructions for any special requirements. Then, sit back, relax, and trust our expertise. We do ask that you remain available for any questions that may arise. We also prefer to maintain open communication with you throughout the day.

Finally, once everything is loaded, you can conduct a final walkthrough of your home to ensure nothing has been left behind. Double-check all closets, drawers, and cabinets. Leave your keys with the appropriate parties and bid farewell to your old home.

Once we arrive at your new home, we will unload your belongings, placing them in the areas you designate. As you settle into your new home, we recommend creating a post-move checklist. Unpack room by room, prioritizing essential items first. Update your new address with the necessary entities, including banks, government agencies, and subscriptions. Take your time to arrange furniture and decorate your new space to make it truly feel like home.

3 Guys Moving welcomes the opportunity to handle your residential move and/or business relocation. Tampa is our home, but our long distance and local movers work throughout the United States. And, since we are a full service moving and storage company, we offer warehouse storage at our 23,000 square foot climate controlled storage facility. Businesses also partner with us for warehouse receiving and delivery services. Not all moving companies are equal. Give us a call to learn more about the 3 Guys Moving difference today!
