Expert Packing Tips from Our Long Distance and Local Movers
We are continuing our series of articles discussing expert packing tips to help your next move go smooth. Our previous articles covered the importance of purchasing and/or gathering the packing supplies you will need before you get started. We also explored how decluttering, implementing a packing strategy, and labeling and organizing your boxes will help make unpacking much easier. Today, we will look at two more packing strategies to consider.
Maximizing Space
To make the most of your boxes, fill empty spaces with packing material to prevent items from shifting during the move. You can also use small items to fill in gaps and maximize space. Be strategic in your packing to minimize the number of boxes needed and to help make unpacking easier.
Handling Fragile Items
When packing fragile items, take extra care to wrap them in bubble wrap, shrink wrap, or packing paper. Consider packing fragile items in a separate box and clearly label it as fragile. This will help ensure that delicate items are well-protected during the move and arrive at your new home in one piece.
We will conclude our series on packing tips from our long distance and local movers in our next article.
